Interested in working at one of our Summer Programs or the Wayland Town Beach?
Every summer we hire many Beach Staff, Lifeguards, Swim Instructors, Snack Bar Staff, Summer Counselors, and Specialists.
We have flexible schedules with fun and exciting working environment.

All applicants must be 16 years old by June 15, 2017.
A photo ID, bank account and First Aid & CPR Certification are required for all employees.
School Photo IDs are acceptable, and certification courses are available through the Wayland Rec Dept.
Work Permits are required for all employees under the age of 18 years.
Full summer commitment is highly recommended.

Youth Programs

It is strongly recommended for candidates to communicate with the Rec Office independently, without the help of the candidates’ parent.
Applications are accepted from January 1 to our deadline on April 15, 2017.

Ski Director (PT Seasonal)

The hire should expect to work part time, approx. 5 ½ hours each Monday night for 5 weeks.
Hours each Monday are from 2:00pm – 7:30pm
Attending make up dates is required
Start date will be immediate on January 9th
Applicants must be 21 or older
